Nicola Sturgeon avoids Police fraud probe question as sources close to investigation say fundraising fraud allegations "may have substance" despite Crown Office slow-walking decisions
I feel it would be a good idea for you to have it Dean. I’m sure there must be others that read your articles and feel the same. I read all your articles and push your name on Twitter all the time. Look forward to that button.. I do want to give..only to willing when I have a wee something..but not be tied in case I don’t. 🫣😳👍🏻
I’m a pensioner Dean and sometimes £5.00 even for a month can be a lot. I’ve had times in life when £5.00 was nothing and others when 50p was a fortune… I’ve been fortunate enough to never have had to lay my head down on the street. I get by but on a tight budget. I’m happy…….
Dean I love reading your articles but wish you would as well as having a subscription have a donate bit as well. I can’t afford to subscribe but would be willing to donate whatever I can every now and again. Another brilliant article.
Trashing Scottish Law seems to be almost a pastime with Scottish politicians. The Lord Advocate ought never be a member of cabinet.Having lived in a country where it was difficult to keep an honest judge alive (Colombia in the 70’s)I feel ashamed for my fellow Scots. They really do not seem to know what it is they are hazarding& how fragile freedom can be.
The biggest problem for the Crown Office is that its reputationally damaged quite badly. Let us not forget it has confessed publicly to "malicious and wrongful prosecutions" in relation to the separate and unrelated rangers administration case. That alone has cost taxpayers tens of millions of pounds, and only undermines the credibility of the prosecution service reputationally. Then there was the behaviour vis-a-vis the stymieing of the Holyrood inquiry into the mishandling of sexual assault allegations...
There are clear suggestions of the Crown Office insisting on ... how shall we put it? ... an abundance of caution, resulting in a go-slow speed for the investigation. I reiterate however the issue doesn't seem to be with the police investigators, but with the prosecution service (whose head sits in ... Ms Sturgeon's cabinet...)

I will speed up progress on a donate button. I get the financial pressures, I'm feeling it a bit these days myself.

The monthly Sub is only £5. Although I am considering a patreon or something for one-offs.

No stink without rot!
Peter Murrel's loan amount seems to have an uncanny correlation to the reported cost of the luxurious campervan.!
